Intending to become a front-end developer or a UI/UX designer
I started my coding journey in Grade 10 when I participated in my first hackathon, Technovation Girls. Along with three other teammates, I developed a mobile app for people with multiple sclerosis (MS). I was amazed by the impact software application can make to my community and the social issues I care about. Thus, I started learning coding and software development more seriously. I participated in more hackathons, summer programs, research programs, internships to learn more about web and game development. I expanded my knowledge to multiple coding languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, and REACT. Now, I'm a freshman at the University of Washington, studying Engineering (wants to major in HCDE). I aim to become a front-end or UX developer. I'm always looking for internship, networking, hackathon, and conferences opportunities. So please don't hesitate to reach out!
Conducted two research projects with university professors around humanity subjects (Spanish literature & Norman Sicily geoscience). Applied machine learning skills into data processing. Used tools like LLM, Pearson Correlation, K-means clustering etc. Produced 12 page research paper and featured on the Norman Sicily project website.
My team of 4 coded a mobile app to help faciliate the daily lives of Multiple Sclerosis patients using React Native and JavaScript. From prototyping, market research, to getting user feedback and writing business plans, we did it all. Our App has 4 main features: a map, a reminder page, a info dictionary, and a notes-taking page. See details in the projects section.
I built code models to increase organization’s work flow and efficiency. I was also part of a Discord learning chatbot development project, where we collaborated with Google Deep Mind. Utilized tools such as Google Colab, Overleaf, LaTeX, and MongoDB.
I learned about game development and web-development. Coded multiple games using JavaScript and Replit, as well as a website raising awareness for the climate change issue using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Also got the change to connect with workers at Apple.
My team build this project for the Technovation Challenge, aiming to support multiple scelrosis patients' daily lives. The project is built using React Native and JavaScript.
This is a website that I built t help me generate my outfit everyday based on the current weather. I took photos of all my clothing images and stored them in Supabase db.
I built this project for the Nasa Space App challenge. It is a web application that displays the 608 NASA bioscience publications in a summary form.
Applied machine learning skills into data processing to analyze the settlement patterns of moneteries and fortifications in Norman Sicily. Used tools like LLM, Pearson Correlation, K-means clustering, etc. Trained a chatbot using RAG and GPT 4o.
